Tournament Monster

I hate cash play on the internet.!!There,I said it.Im a tournament monster. There,I said that too. So,most of my advice is going to be directed at tournament players.

I started with freerolls and worked my way up like a player should.Never risking my own financial ruin over a game.I built a roll in the low stakes and moved up, it took me a year to make it to the $5 buyins. Not only will this keep your marriage and credit rating safe, it gives you a sense of accomplishment as you rise up to each level.

Now for the second site I mentioned Try Sportsbookpoker.com .It accepts most credit cards from the U.S.and gets soft cross over action from a sportsbook.

As for bankroll management, let's start with a $100 deposit at PitBull Poker.com.Use the bonus code PBPT .Enter it in the bonus code area as you sign up and open your account. This will get you an additional $200 bonus. It's released in $5 increments every 50 player comp points. This is pretty standard. Also ask about your free $10.

You should have $110 and $200 in bonuses that you have a chance to receive if all goes well.We will begain with the bankroll managment rules:.There's no such thing as a winning player that doesnt have good bankroll managment skills.(he can be be a great poker player, but if he doesnt manage money well, I'll guarantee you he's lost money at the game in all, over his lifetime. And folks let me tell you, that the only real time you count the chips,is at Saint Peters pearly gates!Poker Is a lifetime sport.)

Rule#1.Never risk more than 5% of your bank roll on a single table SnG....to get 5% for our $110 or any other # take 110x.05=5.5 So you can play a $5.50 SnG. by this rule.

#2.never risk more than 2% of your bankroll on an MTT....to get the number for this we take our $110x.o2=2.2...so you can play any MTT for $2.20 this is a freezeout (no rebuys ever!!!)

#3.Your bank roll must be recalculated after each session.A session is an average playing time for you ,say 2 or 3 hrs or maybe three or four single table SnG tournys in the morning before work or school would be a session.

That's about it for Tournament players. If you were a cash player Id be telling you rules till your ears bled..Next time we'll discuss targeting the right tournaments....coyboy33

Before You Begin

Hello, lets begain with the first thing you should do before you ever set up an account at any online poker site. You should make sure that you're going to get a thing called "rakeback.

Rakeback is a rebate that is given back to you from a poker site out of the tournament fees and cash table fees you play online.I recomend rackebacklovers.com or rakeback.com.this will get you the little extra edge you may need to break even your 1st year or two in online poker.

How it works is ,you go to rakebacklovers.com and sign up at your chosen site I suggest Full Tilt Poker for your 1st site. There will be a code given to you by the rakeback site that you must enter when you signup At Full Tilt Poker. This will link you to the Poker site through the rakeback site and the rebate will be put into your poker account each day after you complete your play there,or weekly depending on the site.

There's a couple of sites that give you rake back without this hassle but they are smaller sites.I like them for beginners however, because the player pool is limited and the skill level of the average player there is far below that of the average players at PokerStars and Full Tilt.I'll recomend PitBullPoker.com as the #1 site to get rakeback automatically, also there are freerolls every hour.

Just use this bonus code when you sign up....PBPT....It will get you $10 free to try the site.If you like it,make a deposit and they will give you a 200% deposit bonus. So if you deposit $100 for instance you will get $200 added to it to play on in your new account. In my next post I'll discuss the second site and bankroll managment.
